BEGINNING THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 17th, our Westwood Kindergarten Kiddos are invited to join in the ABC Celebration of all our learning! Each week day will have a letter to follow, performing certain tasks, singing or dancing to special songs, listening to special stories, and even doing special crafts, art projects, or science experiments! Here is the ABC Celebration menu for you to follow! This will be a lot of fun and will hopefully lift some spirits, add some excitement, and increase motivation! FRIDAY STARTS WITH THE LETTER A--All things APPLES!!!
¡Padres, necesitamos su ayuda! Nos faltan muchos formularios de inscripción. Estos fueron enviados a casa en las bolsas con el último paquetes de AMI con una nota grapada color rosa. Estos formularios están reemplazando las tarjetas blancas que hemos usado en el pasado y reservarán el lugar de su hijo(a) para el próximo año (en Westwood, otra escuela a la que se mudó en Springdale, o escuela secundaria). Haga las correcciones necesarias y déjelo en el cubo en el porche al frente de la escuela. Si ha perdido el formulario, envíenos un mensaje o llame a la oficina y le podemos imprimir otro para que lo recoja. ¡Gracias!
Parents- help! We are missing a lot of enrollment forms. These were sent home in the bags with the last set of AMI packets with a pink note stapled to them. These are replacing the white cards we’ve used in the past and will reserve your child’s spot for next year (at Westwood, another school you’ve moved to in Springdale, or middle school). Please make any corrections needed and drop them by the bucket on the front porch. If you have lost yours, send us a message or call the office and we will print another one for you to pick up. Thanks!

Socially Distant Spirit Week coming Apr. 13-17th!
The Westwood Parade is coming to a place near you!
FRIDAY AFTERNOON, 2pm-3ish pm, be home!!! Spread the word with your neighbors and family connected to our school! This will be so exciting!!!
If you live EAST of the school, near the public library, plan for us to see you first, between 2-2:15pm!
If you live NORTH (behind) of the school, or even west of Gutensohn, we will be coming thru between 2:15-2:35!
If you live SOUTH (in front ) of the school, we will be driving back and forth through there between 2:40-3:00pm!
We will be ending our parade around 3pm or so in Emily Circle!
Be ready! Can't wait to see you all! (Please keep your kiddos safe and remind them not to run in the street, and if lots of neighbors are outside, remember to stay apart from neighbors!) The safest thing to do is stay in your doorway.
***if you don't live in our school zone, you are welcome to come to the school parking lot to see us go by the school! You can hang out in the grass, along the fence, etc.....but keep your distance from other families!

Morning! Our packets are ready early, so feel free to come by the school anytime this morning. Ring the buzzer and give us your child’s name, grade, and teacher and wait on the porch, and someone will bring it to you. Be sure and maintain 6 feet of social distancing on the porch if you come this morning. We will still have our car rider line packet give out between noon and 2. Thanks!
