Will your child be riding a bus to school? Springdale Public Schools has implemented a new bus routing system and parent portal to better communicate with our families and to further improve student safety. We had a great first day of kindergarten jumpstart and are looking forward to the rest of our kindergartners being on campus tomorrow for day two! We can't wait to see all of our Walker Wildcats at meet the teacher next Wednesday, Aug 9th!

Hello Kindergarten Families, We are looking forward to seeing you on Monday or Tuesday for Kindergarten Jump Start. We will begin at 9:00 am in the cafeteria, where we'll have a brief 15-minute parent orientation. Students will begin at 9:00 and will finish at 2:00 pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided for all students. If you haven't already submitted all of your child's registration documents, please make sure to bring them to the orientation. Today is Monday. Are you looking for something for your Wildcat to do today? Science Action Club (a seven-week program geared for students in grades 3-5) will begin at 9:00 and Feed your Brain will begin at 10:00 today at Walker. A parent or guardian must attend with their children. Both programs will continue to be at Walker every Monday from June 19th through July 31st. Lunch is provided in the Walker cafeteria, so why not bring your Wildcats and grab lunch while you are there?

This amazing group of Walker teachers along with our assistant principal spent three days learning at the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) at Work Institute with Mike Mattos and other authors and educators from Solution Tree. Our team is always learning and excited to bring back new strategies and tools to ensure our Wildcats learn at high levels.
