Our Southwest Junior High Safety Team has been busy preparing to keep our students and staff safe! From completing their first fire drill to participating in hands-on CPR certification training, our team is building the skills and confidence needed to respond when it matters most. 🧯❤️‍🩹

We were honored to welcome colleagues from the El Dorado School District to Southwest Junior High for an instructional observation focused on best practices for meaningfully supporting and including students here at Southwest. Thank you to Melissa Tucker, Assistant Superintendent, and Lori Wilox, teacher, for spending time learning alongside our Southwest team, and a special thank-you to Carolett Cooperstein for opening her classroom and sharing her expertise. We appreciate opportunities like these that allow educators to learn from one another, celebrate effective practices, and strengthen our collective commitment to ensuring every student has meaningful access to learning.
