Millie Peters graduated from Nashville High School in Nashville, Illinois. She attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, earning a Bachelor of Music. Mrs. Peters is currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas, completing a Master of Music Education. She is licensed to teach vocal music and is the Choir Director at Springdale High School. Mrs. Peters began her teaching career in Fayetteville for one year before moving to JO Kelley Middle school for ten years. She has been teaching at SHS for 17 years! Mrs. Peters sponsors the Choir Council. She has been married to her husband Ben for 29 years. Together they have three children, Gabe and Hayden, SHS graduates, and Izzy, a current SHS Bulldog. She loves to watch her daughter Izzy play softball and cheer for the St. Louis Cardinals.
