SHS STAFF SPOTLIGHT: KEVIN SNAVELY

Assistant Principal Kevin Snavely has worked for the Springdale School District for fifteen years. He is a graduate of Springdale High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Arkansas. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Harding University and an Educational Specialist degree from Arkansas State University. Mr. Snavely began his education career as a secondary math teacher and coach and taught at several different schools in Northwest Arkansas. He moved into his first Administrative role as an Assistant Principal at Siloam Springs High School and served in that position for seven years before coming back home to Springdale.

Mr. Snavely supports the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is active in his church, Crosspointe Community Church in Tontitown. He has been married to his wife Deanna for 32 years and they have two children, Kyle and Kathryn. Mr. Snavely is a licensed minister and had the privilege of presiding at his son Kyle and daughter in-law Abby’s wedding ceremony. Kyle is an electrician and a member of the Arkansas National Guard. Kathryn, who is married to Jared Breedlove, teaches 3rd grade in Warren, Arkansas.
